Hi just got a 300l tank 2nd hand came with a hang on skimmer, only problem is I can't get it to work for live nor money! The skimmer in question is a tmc v2skim 500 compact. The pump works when submerged in water however once the pipe is that feeds it water is connected it doesn't work. It doesn't draw any water up the pipe into the pump. I'm sure I must be doing something wrong. The guy I bought it off no use as he didn't run it.
Any help be appreciated.
