Hello

I have a centropygee interruptus. Fish developed this infection. Have had fish for over one year. No new additions in reef in very long time. Matter fact interruptus was last addition.

I am battling cyano and have been dosing microbacter 7 in an effort to overcome the bacteria causing the cyano.

Curiously enough the interruptus developed this white streak on its upper body
It goes from the fin to the fishes head.
The fish is acting fine and eating. I am feeding dr g medicated antibacterial food and the anti parasitic food. No other fish has this.

Also not that this fish did develop something like this in past but on different part of body. It responded to medicated food in past

Have no idea what this is. I am doing water changes as I did not do a water change for about three months. Maybe it is from water quality. I have no idea. Any help is appreciated

Iris a bacterial infection and it is responding well to doctor G antibacterial frozen food. This is really a cold water fish. I got it from someone who had it in 77 to 79 degree tank for two years. My tank currently runs at 78.5 I don't have a chiller just a fan. I actually am not certain if the warm water caused th bacterial infection. A expert told me that the fish will not thrive at warm temperatures. It is absolutely happy and eats like a pig. Hope it's gets through this infection.na truly speculation specimen. It is an adult and becoming more purple now. It has great personality. Swims the tank with confidence. I hope she pulls though. Keeping fingers crossed.
