I believe I have a spagetti worm in my tank. There are several spagetti like tenticles coming out of a rock. Can this harm my coral? The tenticles are like 2 feel long and there are about 6 or 7. Thanks for any help given.

2 feet long?!!! Not two inches? I don't have any that even come close to that. I have some zoas that seem to be irritated by them so and other zoas that don't seem to mind. I get rid of them if they are bugging zoas, otherwise leave em be.

yeah 2 feet long. The tenticles start at the back of my tang and curve around some live rock and barely touch the front of my tank.

I have what may be the same thing residing under a rock with mushrooms on the rock. We originally thought it was some kind of starfish. they are quite shy so we do not see them all the time. I was wondering if I should remove them or get something that would eat them.

Alan, If is a spagetti worm, you will not be able to see the worm, but only the tenticles sticking out of the rock. they are very long and stringy
