Help with stand sump issue

The used system I am looking to buy, a 93 gallon rimless marineland comes with the manufactures stand, it is an open top, no plywood on the top of the stand. I could put a larger sump in from the top but based upon the dimensions of the one door I would not be able to remove it except by moving the aquarium. I mean what a pain. Would anyone ever install a sump that could not be removed except in the above scenario? Anyone familiar with this setup who might have some suggestions? Thanks!

How much smaller would the sump have to be to get it in and out the door instead of through the open top?

Aquarium manufacturers aren't as interested in maximizing sump size in the stand as they are with how good the stand looks.

See how easy my sump fits in my stand.

How well do you think it goes in and out now with the braces?

My new 80 gal system and my old 210 both had the sump installed from the top. The braces are screwed in place so its not that big of a deal to remove them, which I never intend to remove the sump unless breaking down the system anyway.

I wouldn't, as the others have said, unless you can remove the center front braces.. Simply because, with tanks, the weird always happens.. You will, by some strange and unlikely reason, at some point, need to remove the sump(compared to never having an issue if there was an easy way to get it out), and you will be forced to drain the display..

Once again, it's just the nature of our hobby, the annoyances that do happen, and dumb luck.. But no, I wouldn't do it..

From note 5.. rip note 7

Thanks all I appreciate the input. I was actually trying to put a cube shaped sump in and that shape would not pass through the door. However, I did find I could fit a traditional rectangular sump with the ability to get it through the door if needed. I have had multiple tanks and never had to remove a sump, but of course this would be the time.

I was trying to fit the largest sump possible, but a twenty gallon may be all I can squeeze in there with return pump, ATO, dosing pumps, etc.
