Help with tank transfer

Hello all,
I currently have a 12 gallon nano cune and will upgrading to a custom made 25 gallon rimless setup.
My questions are,

1: if i need more rock, and i add bulk reef supplys reef saver rock will i exsperenice a mini cycle or should i cure the rock first in a bucket.

2: if i do have to cure said rock would it be ok to just add my exsisting rock to the new tank with dry sand and new water then add the curing rock later on?

3: should i use old water from my little tank or just go with 100% new water in the new tank

4: should i cure dry sand before adding it to the tank?

Note: no new live stock will be added to this tank anytime soon.

Any help would be great this is my first time upgrading to a bigger tank im use to the down grading tank proccess lol.

1. BRS's reef saver does not need to be cured. Its the only rock I use

2. Answered in 1. but if you went with another rock needing curing, then yes, you can add it as it is cured.

3. I would just go with new water, but match everything nearly perfectly.

4. No need to cure sand. Just rinse it REALLY well, unless you want a MAJOR dust storm. Trust me, you want to rinse it! lol I just use tap water. Easiest is to put it in a 5 gal bucket, then put a hose in the center and let it overflow and stir it a couple of times till its mostly clear. Then finally rinse again in RO or RODI water.

So in theory if my rock comes in monday and i have my tank stand built i can i can transfer everything over no problem with the salinity and temp being spot on. Even if i add reef saver rock! I have so much money invested in the coral in this 12g i would be sick if things died off due to a mini cycle.

I'd play it safe and cycle the new tank first, use ammonium chloride and vodka to speed that up. but, I'd run at least a 2 week fast cycle on it first.Get eh bacteria going good before adding livestock.
