Help with the Apex and router UPnP...

So I have worked all night and gotten most everything set up properly so that I can access the Apex system with my iPhone. I had to go into the router settings and port foward 80 then I had to enable the UPnP, things work great and then I seem to lose it until I refresh the Apex system. I think the problem I am runnin into is in the UPnP settings there are two options, one for "Advertisement Period (in minutes)" which is set to 30 and another for "Advertisement Time to Live (in hops)" which is set to 4. Does this cause the information on the router to time out after 30 minutes and thats why I have to refresh?

A little help please :)

The Apex does not utilize UPnP. In most cases, port forwarding and UPnP are entirely separate functions in the router. Is this a NetGear router? If so, you only want to do the necessary configuration in the Port Forwarding page. Unless you know you need UPnP (such as for some multi-player games), it should be disabled.

it is NetGear but it was installed by Comcast, it does say in the settings that UPnP needs to be enabled in order to allow port forwarding. I tried many times to get it to work without and it didn't work until I enabled the UPnP, so I assume this stands true. I changed both the numbers in the catagories listed in OP to 1, not sure this actually did anything but everything is still working as should this morning. We will see if the problem continues.
