the whitebalance in the first set of pics is off, unless it's shot under actinics.
the second to last picture looks ok. the last pic is over exposed.
most of the pics are out of focus.

tips: use a tripod for coral pics. turn off pumps/powerheads. keep shooting.

Pretty good job. What mode are you shooting in? Auto? If you are I would recommend shooting in manual to get a good exposure without parts of the pictures looking blown out.

I see that your iso is not set Hi1 , but at 100, 400 ,800 in the pics listed. I have the d60 also , but I shoot in raw (nef) format. Practice with F-stop settings for depth of field , and practice with exposure combination's. So far everything looks good. What I also try to do is when I have a small frag, I like to put a black piece of plastic behind what I am shooting to make the coral really pop. Practice Practice practice, oh and tripod works wonders even though you have the VR lens.

yeah the Iso was down for the last shot. I think I had it at 100. I think to today Im going to shoot in raw. How yiou set your F-stop. Im going to look around for something black to put infor the frag shoots and also i was useing a tripod.

so whats your setting you shoot with.
and thanks for your comment.
