Hey guys, I'll looking at a skimmer here for my 150 gallon display tank that will reside in a sump below. Ive come across a used aqua medic turbo flotor 5000 shorty for $225 which retails for $600 that I am contemplating getting. Does anyone have any experience with these models or have some information that could help me out with skimmers in general? Im not entirely sure what I should be taking into consideration when buying one other than one that will fit under my tank in my sump. How much "capacity" in terms of size of tank it can service should I need for a 150 gallon tank? Here's a link to the skimmer.
