Pufferowners

Ok I went into the bathroom and my puffer who is in my 10 gallon was just laying on the bottom and was a wierd color. I was like oh crap. So I hurried and checked the levels on my 50 gallon and they were ok. So I put him in there for the night while I try to revive the 10 gallon to put him back in until I can cycle the 50 I wish I could find a LFS that would keep him while i cycle my 50. Do you guys think this will be ok? He seems happy in the 50 swimming back and forth back and forth. But I cant tell if he is happy or stressed. Please help me here. He is the only one in the tank now i put the damsels in the 10 gallon after i made a water change. They seem to live trough anything.

I looked at the video and he seems to be acting as any new fish would in a tank. A little stressed/curious. Not really a sign of illness.

When you say the 50 tested ok, what do you mean? Is it cycled? Are ammonia readings zero? Please clarify.

When you say he was a weird color, I assume you mean he looked faded out? This can mean he is sick or stressed, but it is often just a sign that he is tired/sleeping. Is he breathing normally or at an unusually fast pace? Is he eating?

Porks are pretty hardy. If he was to get sick, they are susceptible to parasites like marine ick or oodinium. So check his eyes and his skin for white spots.

Again, he looks ok in the video. But fill us in on the tank testing and how he is breathing/looking. Good luck. :)
