I have a 26 gallon reef tank it has been going for 1 year now.I tested the water param's today with Salifert test kits.My Calcium was 440,ALK was an abysmal 2.35 MEQ/L and my PH was 8.35.I dose 2 Little Fishies 2-part additive when I need to.What is wrong and how can I get my Alk up to where it needs to be without raising the PH?If I add the Part B of the additive it will definitely raise my PH.I use an Aqua C Remora Skimmer and UV Sterilizer.I have SPS and LPS in this reef tank as well as some clowns. Thanks

You could do a search here on Oceaninc, and the problems some people have had with it. This may be your problem too.

IMO, the first step you could try is using a different brand of salt. Many floks here use Instant Ocean. I personally use Reef Crystals, which is a product made by IO. You may also want to consider doing more frequent water changes. 10%-15% per week seems to be the norm around here. I do about 15% every ten days or so.
