My son last night got into my stand while I was at work and emptied about 15 oz of both calcium and alkalinity from brs two part into my sump, also about a half box of baking soda. My ph is 7.65. What should I do, I have water mixing and heating for a water change and that is hours away! Do I try and raise ph? Help

How big is your system?
Big water change is best move.

Keep additives out of reach of children. Be glad he didn't drink the alkalinity supplement.

I know it is locked in stand but, It must have been left open. He is fine, just was tinkering in the tank like me. My corals seem fine at this point everything has white on it. It is a 65 gallon tank with 10 gallon sump, about 45-50 gallons actuall water volume. It will be awhile until water is near to temp. I have a seperate system in the basement, should I be grabbing Livestock and moving out!
Any advice, thanks

If the parameters are the same on both tanks, it might be good to take any sensitive corals and invertebrates and drip acclimate them to the basement tank.

Everything is still looking good, dkh is through the roof, ph is 7.9. Got my RO unit in the mail today, gotta figure how to get it up and running, going to do another big water change. Will the dkh come down on its own?

Thanks
