I have a 29 gallon biocube my stock consists of 1 ocel. clown, 1 scooter blenny, 2 peppermint shrimp, 1 sand sifting star, 1 brittle sea star, 20 blue leg hermits, 2 turbo snails, and 1 blue dot sea hare. My corals are 1 colt, 1 hammer, a colony of gsp, pink anthelia, button polyps, and 3 colonies of zoanthids. Here is my problem I had a bubble tip anemone and last night it got sucked into my circulation pump I have been running carbon as well as kent organic absorption resin and I have a protein skimmer I woke up this morning the tank was cloudy the skimmer was full so I emptied it did a large water change and changed out my carbon everything is open both fish are looking good but the tank is still cloudy and my hammer is the only coral not open yet. Do you think the tank will recover? What else should I do? Should I do another water change when I get home from work today?

Yes,the tank will recover.Sounds like you did everything right.
You might have to do a couple more water changes and change out the carbon.
But,everything should clear up after a while.

Thanks. The hammer finally started opening up so I think the skimmer, carbon, and organic absorption resin helped me avoid disaster. Now if I can avoid a spike in ammonia and nitrates then I should be good.

Well its a 29 biocube but with water displacement its more like 21 or so gallons I changed out 8 gallons this morning and I plan on doing another 5 gallons tonight when I get home so hopefully it all goes good
