My clownfish wasn't doing so well yesterday in my 6 gallon nano cube (I'm pretty sure he was born with birth defects as his jaw was deformed) but he was doing ok until yesterday when he was swimming kinda funny. Now I know he died and hes somewhere in my rock work and there is no way I can take all the rocks apart to get him. Is there anything I can do to prevent an ammonia spike besides water changes. My cleaning crew is good but is there anything else I can do? At this point I don't even know where he is in the rockwork but I made sure he wasn't in the rear chambers.

i would give ClorAm-x a try, i use this product with confidence and great results.

if you want to look for the guy without removing/moving the rock/corals try a turkey baster or a tiny power head to gently blast into the nooks and crannies.
