Help!!!

Can anyone tell me what the exact name of this coral is? I thought it was a finger leather but when I google it, the images don't quite look the same. Also, it was open with its little tentacles since I got it a month ago. Now it's been like this for 3 days. What could be wrong?

Looks like a toadstool leather to me. Finger leather corals have a LOT of variation in their appearance though depending on flow and placement.

Does it normally close up like that or is it beginning to die!

Yeah, they'll close up like that from time to time. This usually last a few days and the coral will shed a waxy layer to kind of cleanse itself. Having a lot of chaotic flow around the coral helps to speed up this process and it also limits the frequency in which this happens.
