 I NEED to know which clams are rock dwelling and which are sand dwelling could anyone please list them for me thanks ALOT

in the wild Croceas, Maximas and Squamosas are found on the reef(rocks).

Derasa and Gigas are also commonly found on the reef but can also be found at the base of the reef on hardened calcium carbonate substrate. these 2 types of clams can be found on sand but only where it is sheltered and the sand isn't dynamic

I tried putting my crocea in the rock---it catapulted itself violently onto the sand and actively started digging in, so I didn't argue. They can't 'see', but they surely have light-receptors somewhere on that mantle. I wonder if the white/high albedo sand didn't convince it the high light vicinity wasn't where I put it, even if where I put it was physically closer to the light.
