please define "this" so its clear what we are talking about here?

cloudy water?
shrimp?
black sand?
precipitate of something on the sand (white clumps)?

obviously phosphates are high (overfeeding?) GFO can remove that..

Cloudy water and brown algae. I tested with 2 different Phosphate test .25 on both and went to LFS. For the past 2 weeks I have feed like 6 mysis shrimp every other day to 2 chromis.

Increase flow through the tank.

Increase flow, run gfo, siphon as much out as you can with the large water changes you need to do.

Are you using RO/DI water? .25 is pretty high for PO4. You should aim for about .03. Your actual reading is certainly much higher than the tests would indicate.

Rodi water. Instant ocean salt. I have 2 powerheads and my return from my sump. Friend had an extra chemi pure so I'm running that. Been doing like 50% changes everyweek. I'll def give gfo a try
