help

I havnt gotten mine delivered yet so i guess i have some waiting to do, but how high mantinence is a Bubble Tip as apposed to the other anenomes?

Considered the easiest of all the hosting anemones...but still VERY difficult. Do you research before buying an anemone, they all take very diligent care and excellent water conditions, as well as a tank established for at LEAST 6 months.

i found them to be less trouble than bta's . try to stay away from bleached white crispa's. at the very least find one with a hint of color other than the magenta , blue , green or yellow tentacle tip's . the more colored up at the time of purchase the better .

that and also had no problems when it came into contact (for a week), with a porities coral . i had a rbta which did all kinds of strange things . it burnt welts into the corals within minutes of touching them . it would drop those tentacles leaving them on the coral to continue killing , they would deflate and couldn't be removed . i could go on but i have other things to do now suffice to say to me they're overgrown aiptasias . some look very nice and others look like a bunch of earth worms and they often go back and forth for no apparent reason . with the sebae , given the proper conditions , the large volume of h20 in your 180 will provide a good margin of error .

I have a Bubble tip anemone for my clowns. I really like the BTA because I think it is an easy one to care for. Also, I added my anemone to my tank after a month or so and have had no problems. He has almost tripled in size and seems to be doing very well. Good luck on your search. Also, on the anemone main page there is a PDF that will answer all your questions about they types of anemones and how to care for them.
