I need some help and fast. Unfortunately, I have a bug infestation that requires my entire house to be fogged. I have a 110 Gallon tank with many fish and corals in it. I need to know what to do about the tank. I have to evacuate my house for 8 hours and anything inside the house will die, including fish. At this point, I don't know what I should do to try and relocate the fish temporarily or if I could just use a heavy plastic and cover it up , but then what happens if the Water gets contaminated? Here are my thoughts so far.

1. Pull all of the fish out and put into a big container with all of my pumps running. I would dain all of the water out into my 5 gallon buckets that I use for water changes and store them until I can move back in. (It will be only 8 hours.) I also would put all of the live rock in a 10 gallon bucket with water and a power head to keep everything alive and then I would tape up the entire tank with plastic to insure that Nothing can get in or out.

2. Talk to the LFS and see if I can pay them to store my fish in one of their tanks until I can get my tank set back up. I could then Easily store the live rock in a bin with water and a powerhead until I can get it set back up.

I really need everyones help, especially if you have had to deal with something like this before. What did you do? What worked and what didn't work. I will be doing this this Thursday, 9/3/08 so I need as much help as fast as possible... I will be posting this message in several threads. Thanks for your help

Sincerely, Josh
