my tank is super cloudy i have a bag of carbon in there underneath the protein skimmer outlet could this be the reason.
help!

Cloudy tank is typically a bacterial bloom.
Have you added any carbon sources recently (vodka, sugar, Vit C)? If this is the case keep your eye on the PH and areate as much as you can if it gets low.
My second guess would be a kalk overdose. If this is the case then I'd suggest just sitting tight, turn off any dosers/ca reactors for a day and you should be fine.
Neither instance typically results in a tank crash.
And granular activated carbon will not cause cloudy water. It's actually helps with water clarity.

all i did is move my bag of black dimond carbon under more flowing water, i dont add vodka or kalk, just part 1 and 2

Bacterial bloom possible, any change in pH lately? Sometimes cloudiness results from issues there, too.
I recommend testing your water and doing some water changes in case the water is tainted and it should help with the clarity. Carbon should clarify water not make it cloudy (always good to rinse it a little before putting it in)
