Rick

hey ric i am so glad you tank is back to normal or beter looking then before with the new corals i am happ for you after the hall tank lost

Yeah, are those T-5's??? And how is the tube anemone doing up on that rock? They like to be buried in the sand from what I hear.

The tank is 150 gal's that has been set-up for 5 months now in Las Vegas. I lost the tank on the move out here , as I had all my corals shipped out after being held in Miami for a month. Most of the coral was lost in shipping, and for some odd reason most of my best coral die being held in Miami along with all but one of my fish. Just goes to prove that if you have to move across country sell all your fish and coral!!!!!!!!!!!
I have been restocking the tank , and came over to the frag swap to pick-up so frags last month. The tank has a 30 gal sump, with DIY refugium , and 10 lb MM.
MY filter is DIY, with just a drip plate and floss and a protein skimmer. I have a ATO that is set-up to fill about every hr, for water lost from evaporation . I keep set that way because , I don't want big swings in the water SG or PH. I have 480 watts T5's for lighting . The tube anemone are in PBC tubes, with sand in them, I love them as they do not move. So you do not have to worry about them!

nice tank!!!how big is the pbc tube that u are using for the anemone???and the chilly coral for how long that u have it ??? I always want one but I don`t know much about then I only know that they don`t need light if anyone have any info about chilli corals please tell me what u know thanks

the chili coral , I had it in the tank for two months now . I have it under a ledge , so it has low light. I use 3/4 PBC for the tube anemone, I take a blow torch , and heat the end. Then roll it back so it will not cut into the anemone. Put a cap on the other end and put some sand in the tube. Then you can put it, any place you want it!!!!!!!!!!!

cool, I already have 2 tube anemones I want one more but I don`t have space in the sand for it,,, thanks a lot seas3to5..

here u can see one off my tube anemone
