They are working on that right now. Probably standard overnight shipping. What's the worst that could happen? You could opt out of getting one. Just thought I would share the info. It is a cool opportunity to get a coral that most won't or can't pay for.

I hope it comes through for you. Thats a nice polyp, my only concern is look how many people are going to try & get in on this. Taking there time & effot to try & help build their for=um for a chance to get a free polyp. A pretty rare & pricey polyp at that. Im sure there will be a whole bunch of folks with the same idea as you (problem by the thousands since the reefing community is small word spread like wild fire on these things) & when if by chance they dont recieve the Hornet you know the bashing will never end, or best case scenerio they are able to somehow take care of everyone that has participated, the rarity of the Hornet will be no more.

My thoughts is the shipping/handling/packaging charge will be so high most folks will pass. This would give them a easy out. Im not bashing at all but 99% if something is to good to be true it normally has a catch. I hope you do get 1 & it grows like mad for you, so you can trade some locally.:)
 
I think you are over analyzing this. FWIW purple hornets are not rare, just expensive, and that's a shame. I for one am not trying to see any coral stay RARE. I guess I could have not told anyone and kept it rare and expensive in this area too. I don't see what there is to lose by signing up and posting 25 times. As far as shipping goes. all corals are shipped overnight for about 50 bucks. i would assume that others know this going in. I know three others have signed up. But you have made your concerns known, and can move on. Thanks.

Yeah, I am on the list already, and have sent Brent a pm about combining shipping. I will let everyone who is on there know when I find out.
 
Ok, Brent just got back to me. if you signed up, and completed the requisites, PM me when you get your name on the list and I will keep track of who is getting one. We can combine shipping. I plan on having them shipped to my house and I will take the day off to recieve them when the time comes.
