I was blunt, not rude. I have no reason to sugar coat anything. There isn't any reason to come into this thread and add any kind of negative feedback about it. I provided people in a club, to which I don't belong, a cool opportunity. If you don't want to give it a shot, move on, no need to say how it probably is bogus, or it won't happen because too many people will do it, or that the coral won't be "rare" anymore. who cares if a coral is rare. the less "rare" they get the better chance people have of getting an propagating them.

Adrian the only thing you can do really is let people say there opinion and let it play out. Then if it comes through you can say "LOOK AT MY SWEET PURPLE HORNET SUCKAS" and if it dont "Ya, you know it was too good to be true" I dont know if you remember the comments some people made about me bringing up a craigslist ad where a school was looking for help. Some people were pretty negative. BUT , I did what I wanted to do and it actually turned out to be legit and I actually got alot of wonderful donations for the tank, which is looking awesome I might add.

Well get it or not...I had a good time on the forum the other day. I got to meet some new people, swap some tank pics, and had just an all around fun time. If I get the zoa- then I can dance around. If not, I still had fun.
It seems everytime someone has something to say or show off, someone else on here has something negative to say about it. I don't for the life of me see why this has to continue. I know most of you remember the huge drama when I made an idiot of myself with Saltydawg. Others made almost identical comments, I got jumped on and had the good grace to publicly apologize. Maybe a few others could follow the example or go with if you can't something nice then shut up!
The past few months have been nothing but a power struggle on here about who gets to be in charge. What a waste of time! That if nothing else will drive me to look for fun on other boards. I am sure some of you are thinking so what, we don't need her. True one person is not a lot but eventually others will follow and that will be the end of the club.
Adrian did not have to share his find. I for one am grateful. Maybe some others could try to be too.

I dont know about you guys. But my life is pretty crazy and when I do get to spend time on here I want to have fun. If I wanted to argue I would go over to my inlaws.

Well since you like to blunt allow me to do the same. I for 1 made it a point to let you know I was not bashing. All I was doing was letting you know what could happen in place of getting the free polyp. You,re right you dont have anything to lose for signing up for free & making 25 meaningful post other than your time. You also stated they had about 150 members as of the other day. How many do they have now? If all those people are doing like you do you really think they have the inventory of Hornets to spread the love? As more people join & make post it will move them up quickly in the google directory & it will grow really fast. This happens all the time when theres something really nice & free. On top of that you & the others have made there site grow. As far as your last comment about moving on, If all you want is someone to agree with you or give you a great job or a way to go then a public forum is not for you. All I did was offter a different scenerio to what may happen, It wasnt a attack or a bash.
Also you are correct that standard shipping is pretty standard of 50.00 overnight for corals, but thats for someone actually spending money & making a purchase, not for a free expensive Polyp, they will want to make something for the handling or put shipping really out there, thats just my opion. On top of that you are already trying to combine shipping on multiple free polyps, seriously do you think thats gonna happen? I will say this 1 more time. I hope you get it, you spend alot of time looking for great deals & bargains & I hope it pans out for you.
Still I dont see what Ive said negative, I was just looking at the big picture when to many people look for something for nothing & the amount of people are far greater than the product. I was basically saying dont get your hopes up to high because it sucks if you get let down. It seems to me you jumped on the trash tallking bandwagon because I just stated something that could happen. I in no way said anything hateful or out of line.
As far as the power struggle, I dont think there ever was 1. It was a small little debate over a couple of issues, it pretty much stayed in 1 thread. You had a chance as well as everyone else to speak your mind. Its over with now & time to moove on. I for 1 am probably the most laid back person you will ever meet & if you reember Im the 1 that has said numerous times it should be fun.

I apologize if this was long winded but seriously, theres always gonna be a different way of looking at things especially on a forum. Theres no need to get worked all up over the small stuff. Go ahead & bash me all you want now.

Just a little side note on the new website giving away the polyps. I read somewhere on there that they are expecting to give away over 1000 polyps. So I guess they have a purple hornet honey hole somwhere.

It's NOT the point of having the last word. We have our side of story to explain, there's NOT only you that's viewing this very line and it seems you want to have the last word instead without giving us a chance to explain. Some of us have been in the club for a LONG time, for years I may add. I have been in the club for more then 5 years and I see stuffs like this ALL the time. You may be here one day and gone the next, but we're still here trying to help others. I have intention of keep going on and don't plan on getting out anytime soon. Try to take what people say in here with a grain of salt, don't over exaggerate. We're all here to help others NOT to bash one another. Jason was only being nice to let you know his side of the story and his opinion. IF you don't like it, let it be. Why are people acting like a bunch of 2 year old? Act like adults with more sense! This is PART of the reason WHY I don't participate in some of the stuffs in the club is because of cases like this, I deal with childish people at work EVERYDAY and I don't feel like dealing with more after work. IF you don't agree with something someone says, simply just say you don't agree. But let someone speak their mind, like Adrian was saying he don't need to sugar coat. No one is asking you to, but act like an adult and use some common sense in replying your message and be more direct instead of rudeness....:crazy1:

Let me be direct then...as I am aware that I "may be here one day and gone the next" and should "act like an adult and use some common sense" - then I want nothing more to do with you or YOUR club. Is that direct enough for you! As I am obviously not wanted, I will leave you with this bit of insight...attack enough new people...one day your club will be no more and you will have no one but yourself to blame.

Just read on the site under the premium membership section that overnight shipping is going to be 36.95 and they will do combined shipping. Only to combine shipping its going to be an additional 2 dollars for each frag.

My god. The entire thread is de-railed over a bunch of useless bickering. Take it to PM why don't you. This was a great link that Adrian posted which he didn't have to. He could have gotten the purple hornets, let them grow, then scalp everyone here for a high per polyp price once they grew. But he didn't. I don't see hardly any appreciation for the offer, which is quite obviously legit. I see too much bickering and politics nowadays on this forum rather than simply sharing and enjoying what we're all here for, corals and fish. Welcome to MTRC-Span.
