This one has that beat.
Made from a 40 gal storage container, commercial orca needle wheel pump and scrap acrylic. It has to have air injected into the venturi. Uses a marlin pressure pump for the inlet water. That's over 2000 gph into the skimmer.

its in the pump..........................I would say they work better than some $200-$500 skimmers

I'd say it works pretty good. This one is similar to the one posted above but with a clear cup.
