what happened?

First time fragging...too lazy to use dremel. Just tried razor blade and then snapping where I made grooves. I'll be using the dremel next time.

Peace,

Chip

its not TOO bad chip. id try and clean up so of those "threads" of flesh. they will dwindle down and fall off on thier own but id be affraid of starting a patch of receding tissue from that area.
also a lugols dip wouldnt be a bad idea.
all in all with a little tlc it will be fine and mission accomplished!

they are pretty tough... as long as they go back into their "own" water for a bit to heal (not transferring them to a new system). i've never had problems with them if they healed a week in my system, it's the ones that i've fragged and transferred to a new tank.

Yeah, those things deal with fragging pretty well, i would suggest high flow for a bit to get rid of the threads.

When I get a mangled piece like that I cut any hanging chunks. When they hang like that, it's just a matter of time before they break off anyway. They will not re-attach. If the skeleton was just cracked and you left it alone, it would re-attach, but not when you get hangers like that.

Use a razor blade to cut them.
