Hermit Crabs and SPS

Nio joke, why do newly acquired hermits (red leg) perch themselves on top of my corals in clusters? No algae is present.

My blue leg's would congregate on this monti every night. Now I have mostly red mexican's. They usually will just go into the coral's to molt, then they leave.
