Hermit crabs

My hermit crabs keep bothering my zoas that I just purchased at the lfs. Should i ditch the hermit crabs or is this something that they will tolerate?

Are you sure the hermit is picking at the zoanthids and not something growing in between them? They'll probably close up, but if your not seeing any visible damage to the zoanthids than I would just leave the hermit be and wait untill it's done. It might be helping you out with some sort of nuisance algae. Just keep an eye on them.

Bothering how? Picking at/around them or stomping on them? Mine do both all the time & as soon as they pass the zoas open back up.
