Hermit ID

Does anyone have a resource that they can point me to to ID this hermit?

It's big, appears to be a herbivore and it's hanging out in my refugium.

Looks like orange calcinus elegans; I've seen them sell as "Halloween Hermits" sometimes. not to be confused with the Ciliopagurus strigatus that also sell as 'halloween hermits'.

Yep, you nailed it. I found some places selling them using the name you gave. It appears to be a Hawaiian variant of the Electric Blue Leg hermit from the Marshal islands.

From what I've been able to find so far, it appears to be reef safe. Anyone have one in their display tank? Or should I keep it confined to my refugium?
