I woke up today to see the shell moving on the rock and i'v never seen him on the rocks so i looked at him more Specifically and found little red feet hanging out of the shell.:lol:

sorry to hear that. i am looking at getting a Tonga Nass myself. That is precisely why i do not have crabs in my tank.

When hermit crabs get bigger they start to look for a new shell. They will eat the guts out of a snail so they can hijack the shell. You may not be able to stop it, but if you go to your LFS & get a few empty shells, put them in the tank.....the hermits will hijack the empty shells insted..I just saw a hermit in a new shell last week.....it works
