Hermit Shells

I picked up some small hermit crab shells, from a local pet store. They are intended for regular hermit crabs. Does anyone know if they are safe for a reef tank?

should be fine ... might want to boil them or, at least, rinse them off real good in RO/DI water before putting them in your tank though.

like 15 minutes ... you probably don't need to, but it won't hurt ... afterwards, make sure you rinse them well in RO/DI water.
