I been noticing more and more that some polyps are missing their skirts randomly. I just let it be fore a few months but now I want to find out what the cause is.

I would suspect a spider or necrosis, I'm looking on my phone so the pic is kind of small. The hermits are probably eating the algae that is growing in this area and not the actual skirts themselves.

yeah im not sure if its the hermits, all i can think of something that can eat the polyps, i noticed had 1 polyp out of about 6-7 with no skirts about 4 months ago, its still like this but the zoas seem to be shrinking and probably melt. 2 months ago another one from a different frag and 1 polyp out of 5. and now this one and all i can think is the hermits because thats what was there originally

I have 2 scarlet hermits and I have seen one eating then. I've lost like 18 head in a week.
It have stop for now and I hope it will not start again.
