He's alive

I bought this shrimp from Aquatic central about a month and a half ago. There were three of them at $29.99 one normal in coloring, a yellow tip and a blue tip. I got the blue tip since I had some astreina (however you spell it) stars mulitplying at a fast rate. So I got him and saw him about 3 times the first week. After that 3 weeks passed with no sign of him. I searched at night, during the day, with the light on and no luck. I called off the search party thinking he was dead or eaten by I have no idea? This morning something made me look at the tank (6am), and there he was next to the glass where all the stars hang out =)

I forgot why I spent a nice amount on a SLR camera and lense.

Thanks for the compliments on the pictures. I'm still figuring out how to take nice pictures. I think I need another lense to cover all parameters.

Yeah, these little guys can vanish for a long period of time. I thought I literally threw away $30.00 after not seeing him after that first week. My girlfriend just looked at me and didn't comment. So when I don't see him for 3 weeks I'm not that concerned but if it goes longer, like 2 months. I'll begin thinking he's a lost sole. But I'll always keep an eye on the asterina population then begin throwing a chocolate star leg every week.
