So before I get slammed about it being in a 36 gallon corner tank, it is very small and being grown out to be placed into my 120 downstairs. I only have it in there to be able to monitor it better in its early stages of growth and acclimation. I currently have it under 6 hours with both channels only hitting 55% for their max. It seems to be doing OK, ive never seen any other besides my purple guy so I have no real comparison. But I figure I would ask for opinions in regards to my percentages. Any higher and the sps in the tank start to die off but they can be moved to the 120 if 55% of 165 watts of cree LED isn't enough for it. It has colored up completely to purple from when I added it 2 months ago but we all know that pet stores Dont always keep their occupants "happy", just alive. I have LEDs over my 120 as well as my 36 but they are 3 of ReefBreeders value fixtures(120 watts a piece). So basically is this enough to grow out and house a H. mag?

Tank is a mixed reef currently with only 3 fish, ocellaris, yellow clown goby, pink spotted watchman goby. There are three shrimp 2x cleaners, 1x tiger pistol shrimp. Besides the snails and hermit crabs there is 45-50 lbs of live rock, 40-45 lbs of sand live and dead, with a half gallon of mineral mud in the fuge.

My tank specs are as follows-

156 watt ReefBreeders.com photon 24 (55%)
2xMP10 Eco Smart Wave makers
Phosban Reactor 150 with NPX bio plastics
2x Ice Probe mini chillers
CL Super Skimmer 65
150 watt controllable heater
Neptune System Apex Controller(pH/2xtemp)

CPR Small Hang on back refugium kit(up to 75 gallons)
Contained in kit
Protein Skimmer(?)
18 watt Light(not sure if it's PC or what but I think it is)

I figured it would be easier to list the 36 gallons hardware also being housed in that rig currently. You can only imagine that the 120 has the same level of hardware x4.

PS, sorry for the V's I tried to remove them but my phone is acting up.

Well I will think of it like a QT tank, instead of talking about the size of the tank.

LOL

I had mine under some LED's and was doing good, then I switched to Radion's... And it is still doing good.

There is a Ritteri thread here in the anemone section, with lots of pictures. Take a picture of it, post it, and lets compare.

Sounds like you have a game plan and are moving forward. That is good progress for both you and it!
