Heteropsammia coral

Anyone have this coral? Or know anything about it?
Just looking into it..... sounds pretty cool

I love the walking aspect - I have this hope that this is a coral that wouldn't fall prey to being buried by the pistol shrimp

yuppers! walking dendro. and yes, i have one...and it is the coolest little dude ever. what makes it walk are the little worms in the sand that attach themselves in the little hole in the bottom and move it around.....gotta hand feed them, though...and be really diligent in doing so.

How long have you had yours? How would you describe its color? Have you witnessed any growth?

i've had it for a few months. yes, it has grown...and they come in different colors...mine is yellow/green with rust tentacles.

Do you know what species of worm it forms a symbiotic relationship with?

sipunculid worm....think it's pretty common in most tanks.

I always worry about anything with a mouth the size of my cleaner goby......
