Thought I'd post a pic of a fairly unusual NPS. Sea Dwelling Creatures threw this into an order of fish. I've had it for a couple of years now. Doing fairly well. Not the best looker, but for a geek like me, its pretty cool.

Heteropsammia is a photosynthetic coral.

Hi yslexdia...I was wondering if you still have this coral? I just picked one up yesterday and I'm curious how they do longterm.

I've yet to read much about the walking dendro's long term care and viability. Some swear they are photosynthetic, others state they aren't. We have a, great local lfs; Phishy Business who gets them but always sell out before I can get there to see one. Have never ordered one online due to the symbiotic worm. If it's not alive, it would be a very overpriced, stationary coral!
