Can anyone tell me what a blue starfish eats, and whats the best way to care for it..

oh, dear, I'm sorry to say that Linckia blue stars are specialty feeders, requiring over a hundred pounds of very old live rock to stay alive. They should never be sold to a new tank. It will die within a month or so. See if you can trade it back for anything else. Don't get starfish, as a rule: the ones that don't eat your fish and corals won't survive long at all.
