:wavehand: It's been a while since I've posted, but I am getting the desire to clean up the tank and get wet again so hello ETRC and all my old friends.

I'm looking for a couple of things to get the tanks back into shape, anyone have a external pressurized pump that will work on a MRC II skimmer? I'm also looking for a 36 watt ballast for a 24 gallon JBJ cube.:beachbum:

Hey, Art. I am also glad to see you back.

I *might* be able to help with the JBJ ballast if you need a few retro pieces. I took mine off when I made my LED retro, but I still have the old parts. Only problem is, one half of it is bad - so it only drives one bulb. But if you just need one then what I have might work for you. Send me a PM or give me a call.


EDIT: I just looked around and I can't seem to find it. I fear I may have tossed it, but will check in the aquarium "scrap bin" tomorrow and see if it is there. If nothing else, I have an old 32W PC ballast and bulb I got from somebody locally when I needed light in an emergency -- I'd be happy to pass it on to you if you think it might work.

I have a GenX pcx 40 for sale if you'll settle for that. I would personally want a pcx55 though. Still...very glad to see you posting.

Thanks guys it's great seeing that you guys are still in the hobby. I assume the meetings are still every 3rd Sat. of the Month? Can the dues be sent in by Paypal or will I have to send in cash?

Chris, Thanks for the offer on the pump but I'm looking for something larger.

Scott, Please let me know if you can find the ballast.
 
Sorry, Art. I must of went on a wild cleaning spree and tossed it out. I can't find it anywhere. I would have thought I would have at least kept the cables and connectors, but I can't even find that.

no help with the equipment.

Yes, meetings are still the 3rd Sat. of the month. The Dec. meeting is at one of the new member's house.

Gald you are back. I can stop by your house on the way home from work one day and get the dues if that works for you.

We have only met once, I think it was at the luncheon Magellan held about 6 years ago when I first started. I am glad that you are getting back into the swing of things so to speak. I am now the terminal manager at CTI. You should come over some day and check at the tank at work, we are just across the street from you. It isn't anything super special and I am trying to deal with a few problems at the moment, but it's not terrible either. Just give me a call on the office phone and I will get the gate for you. 588 six-six-five-zero. Hope you can swing by sometime. -Seth

Hey Seth, it's good to hear from you, I heard about you tank at the terminal from my son Adam and have been meaning to come see it ever since. I'll give you a call soon and come check it out.
