Hey guys, a little consideration with for sale posts please

Guys, in regards to items I am selling, it's quite annoying when you get pm's with members saying "I'll take it", then you never hear back. If you have no intention of buying an item that's for sale, please have the consideration of not holding up the seller? Several of you have done that to me this week and are completely wasting my time. I would not do that to you, so please stop doing it to me.

On the internet for me, it's always first to come with the $, first serve. I got over holding on to things for people a long time ago. For things they want to buy without seeing it in person, paypal or venmo.

Yup, that's how it is. I don't hold anything unless its for someone I know. Been through that before, you rearrange your schedule and people don't show. I see this at the business level too. People just no show for interviews and such, no notice, no call, no courtesy. Don't know if its just how things are now but if I say I'm going to be there I will move mountains to be there and if not I'd call and feel terrible about it.

I think its the age we live in, where someones word just doesn't carry that weight like it used to. Its too easy to blow someone off when you're hiding behind computer screens and text messages. I guess I'm just old fashioned....
