Hey everyone. This is my starting of a reef. Now a little backround.
I am 16, a junior in highschool. I live in Highland Park, and I have been into fish tanks in one form or another my whole life.

Now anyways, does anyone have any nice little frags they can sell me for a relatively cheap price? I do have a job, but don't make much, and everything I make goes into this tank, so I need to stretch my money, and 40 bucks a coral gets expensive, so anyone have a nice little frag they can part with cheap for a new kid in reefing? Thanks in advanced!

I have frags (colt, mushroom, brown button polyps and possibly a zoo) that you can have. However, I am in Oak Park, quite far from Highland Park. Possibly, I can ship them.

I shall take an inventory and see what I can spare. Then I shall send you a PM. In the mean time, think about how to ship. Very likely, we can use US Postal Service or UPS Ground since we are local. Your decision! However, US Postal Service is more convenience for me.
 
usps works great. Whenever I deal with local people, everything takes 1 day usally, from parcel post to priority to overnight. USPS priority works great for me, cheap, with their flat rate boxes, only 8.05, and fast, usually overnight for me.
 
Unfortunately the cowfish got attacked by the damsel, and lost his fins. Without fins, and being so small, he was constantly sucked to the filter. Eventually, unfortunately, he died. I was mad, but I learned never to put a damsel anywhere near my tanks again. Also, the damsel is now in my brother's 3 foot eel tank, well, the eels stomach.
 
I can hook you up with star polyps and possibly pipe organ(free)....you would have to pick up in sycamore or libertyville....
 
If you want to come to Orland Park I will hook you up too I have a bunch of softies I am tring to move to make room for sps
