Hey guys and gals just wanted to introduce myself, Im Ryan from Cuba NY in Allegany County. Ive been researching reef aquariums since the first of the year. Im in the process of setting up a 180 gal reef.

GEAR I HAVE
180 custom eurobraced reefready closed loop dual 1.5" overflows
Bermuda BPS-8c Skimmer with mag 18
Lumenarc mini reflectors
Custom Birch Stand and Canopy
Refractometer
90 gal for sump
200+ lbs of live rock(picking up on saturday)

GEAR I NEED
3x250 watt retro kits minus reflectors
2x660 icecaps wire for 2x6ft T5vhos
Dolphin 3000/4000 ampmaster external pump
return pump
sand
money!!!!!

Anyways im new and learning so bear with me been a poster on the Upstate Reef Society page and thought I would broaden my horizons.

howdy howdy...and welcome to our humble abode...lol...i do see something that is a miss. you have "2x660 icecaps wire for 2x6ft T5vhos" for 2 6ft VHO's as well as 2 6ft T-5HO's you would only need one ice cap 660 ballast. also just curious where you got your tank and for how much becuase that sounds like exactly what i want when i move...a 180 euro brace. thanks

What I would like to do is 2x6ft actinics each front and rear of the canopy. I just dont want to halides to wash out the actinic is all.

I bought my tank used. It was custom made for a guy in Brooklyn. He had 4000 into full custom tank stand and canopy. He was a reservist and got sent to the sandbox 3 times and each time his wife couldnt handle the tank maintenance and had a fullblow SPS crash. Got frustrated with it took it down. Let it sit in his basement for a year. Got sick of looking at it and I got it for 600 bucks!

Thanks for the invite larrybird ( God please tell me I found another Celtics fan in New York!) I wont be able to make it to this one as I have to spend my cash on live rock saturday and its kind of short notice. But I wont miss the next one!
