does vertex offer a hang on skimmer? if not what would you recommend that you all carry? can you still get octopus hob? budget is about 200-250 if possible....tank size will be 125 thanks

Vertex does not have a hang-on at this time, however they do have one in the works. there is no time frame just yet on release though.

We can dropship the Octopus to you if you prefer that one, just let me know which model you were looking at.

The Deltec is about the best hang-on skimmer on the market right now, however you are going pay for it. the Eshopps PSK 100H is an awesome skimmer as well, and works VERY well out of the box. Also, take a look at the AquaMedic Turboflotor, which is an old unit, but still works pretty well.
