Why do you have those funky addresses like B01 & B02, D01, E01 and E02 ? I thought addresses had to correspond to 1-8 or 1-4 for DC8s and DC4s?

John

DC8s can have letters A, B, C or D numbered 1-8 or 9-16. DC4s can have letters A, B, C or D numbered 1-4, 5-8, 9-12 or 13-16. The Lunar Sim; A, B, C or D numbered 1, 2, 3 or 4 and the AquaSurf E, F, G or H, numbered 1-4.

Each device includes 1 letter + a number; this goes into the 'timer' section of the AC program.

I just mixed things up in case I want to add a device in between my other addresses.

No reason, just the way I did it.

Did that answer your question?????

In my case:

A01-A08 is a DC8
B01-B04 is a DC4HD
D01 is my lunar sim
E01-E04 is my AquaSurf

I am not using all ports on all devices so I didn't add the unused ports into the timers section since I don't control them.

Something I have not tried.

I have a ACIII. I have 3 DC8. I just purchased a Aqua Surf.

Do I need to only use 6 outlets on one of my DC8s to account for the two Tunzes?

Thanks.

The AC3 supports 24 timers total, assuming that you don't have an alarm or LunarSim taking up a timer slot then you would end up having 'n' (where 'n' is the number of pump/timers you enable on the AquaSurf) being unusable. Technically, your answer would be yes.
