He thought it was an oogle? The thing that attaches to the glass.
He tried searching but can't find it anywhere.

Sorry about not looking here but just got done with my night shift thing and there isn't much day left when you work the 12.5 hour shift after driving to and home from work and then gota sleep some.

Jason is that the purple tip digita? Either way it is something I would watch doesn't look to good to me. Did it grow like that or is it fading away?

Dang I didnt know they were that much moola.

I thought that looked like new growth on Jasons coral.
Unless something maybe stung it. My poor little frag of pocillapora keeps getting knocked over in my nano and getting stung and turning white.
I still have the mother in my 55 though.

My purple tipped digita is doing the same thing, turning white at the tips, I don't think its too happy

mine looks similar... and that baby is growing!

at first, I thought it was dying.... but it has grown quite a bit since then.

You may be right Dan. I nowiced super tiny polyps developing, I'll get a better pic tommorow or so...

I noticed, that if you change the direction thatis true UP for this coral... all growth stopped. Once I re-oriented it.... so that the points all faced up, it started again and by the looks, leaps and bounds. That whte tip, is about 3/16" and in about a week or two.

I checked mine closer and if that is the digita you got from me it could look like that growing most of the growth ends do kind of look like that but they are purple and white. Looks like you are on your way to filling half your tank. I am thinking about ordering a frag tank and if I do my digita is going to fall to pieces its gota shrink to a smaller size.
