Hey need help preparing for my corals

I just got my light for my corals from some recommendation from some expert reefers. I wondering what to do to prepare my coral I getting from a local reefer.

What light is it?, what corals are you getting? and what light is the local reefer using?
If you have similar conditions, then there's not much to do. If it's a different light (specially if going LED) then you will want to acclimate your corals to it.
