If I only wanted a wavebox with a 7095 controller, could I just order the (controller-less?) wavebox extension and a 7095 to get out of having to buy the standard controller and would this be a viable system?

The wavebox must have a wavebox controller and without any other pumps the 7095 would be pointless.

O.K., so lets get this straight.
If one wanted to run a wavebox and a 7095 with stream(s), one would still need the regular wavebox with its controller and this controller would plug into the 7095?

Also, with a wavebox extension, how long is the cable that hooks up to the regular wavebox'x controller?

The cables are about 4 ft and fixed to the controller- with two waveboxes you cannot connect to the multicontroller. Their are two cables and you either select to run one or two. The cable from the wavebox extension to the driver that the controller connects to is 16ft.
