I live in Chardon... Don't go to C-Sea meetings anymore though because its way too far for me to drive on a weeknight. :( I used to go when I lived in Univ. Hts....

The majority of the time, I go to the Salty Critter in Vermillion although they typically have a much larger selection of inverts than fish. Aquatic Technologies has a decent selection but is pricey. Occasionally you can get lucky at RMS as they are usually very low priced. Although I recommend QT all new fish, I would especially QT anything that comes out of their tanks. I believe they get shipments on Tues evenings. If you time it right, you can sometimes get stuff as they unpack.

ya this guy (hector i think) at RMS told me that he has 100+ gallon tanks lit by NO tubes that he can "keep whatever he wants under". he reccomended i keep my tank at 70 deg and that skimmers are useless.....

oh ya and he had a huge coke nail on his pinky ehehehe

BTW Rob where you at in chardon we should hook up and swap some stuff

I was at Salty Critter last night when they got their shipment of fish. I would guess they got 70-80 bags. I think it's a question of timing on their stocking. Also, he will order you most anything or hold one for you until the next shipment comes in. I know it's a pain for you east siders...

I haven't been on RC in over a year and we recetly moved to Kent. It is kinda tough to find good stuff local.

I agree that Aquatic Adventures has some nice stuff if you catch it at the right time, but they are a little pricey.

If you just want bare bones basics, that little shop in Kent (Hutch Pet Shop) usually has some stuff. Pet junction in Stow has a very small section of fish, and they usually look suprisingly healthy. They had 2 - 8" naso tangs in there last week and they were priced pretty well.
