Read into the negative reviews on them a bit more. IMO alot of them are on the more irrational side, like having little patience or expecting instantaneous resolution to problems an example would be wanting a refund, and rage when it does not process faster than the couple days it takes any company). A good amount of them are also a misunderstanding of their policies on shipping, drop shipping, returns, etc. None of them are out of whack from any other vendor. There are definitely some legitimate issues people have, but AquaCave does its best IMO to resolve them.
I have placed at least 18-20 orders through them over the last 2 and half years, and not once had the slightest problem in any area from ordering, communication, shipping, packing, or even returns. Out of stock items have always been given a phone call to me, usually with an offer of upgrading to a different more expensive product for the same price. I am far from the most patient of people, and I do have high expectations of any company. If the company was even a fraction as bad as some of these people claim, I would have had a problem of some sort by now......I have had zero problems.
They are a great company and you will do fine with them. Call them and discuss anything with them. If you expect instant shipping that day, it may not happen, they usually ship the next day, always within 2 days. RC5 is a coupon code that knocks 5% off as well at checkout.

I have to agree. I've been ordering from AC for years and I've never had any major issues. You really can't beat their prices.

I just posted an issue last night. It was resolved and I accepted the results. My opinion. Yes, some complains may be irrational. Others however are very valid complaints.
-their prices are very fair
-their shipping was very fast
-they do respond to their customers complaints and seem to try to fix things.
on the flip side
-The icecap reflectors I received looked nothing like what was on their website. It looked more like the reflectors from another manufacturer. AC claims the design was changed about a year ago. I'll go with them on that. I just wish they'd update their site when the change actually occurred.
-The 75gpd RO membrane I purchased was not the make/brand that is indicated on the website. A few months before, they apparently changed their supplier. However, it looks very similar. Even in color. This was not communicated. The website should be immediately updated when a product change occurs. Some customers, like myself, are looking for specific product by maker. Not an equivalent.
In my case, I just kept the membrane. It'll do what it is suppose to do. I'll deal with it. The rest of my order was very satisfactory.
