What size is your setup? Clownfish are always a hardy fish to start with. After you have completed your cycle of course. I'm sure you have some fish in mind, what do you like?

Scooter just cycling with rock and sand no fish until after it has finished.size is a 40 gallon breader I want a dog faced puffer for now

For a 40B tank, your fish sizes will be fairly limited. Any other fish you are interested in? A dog face puffer really needs a tank about 4-5x that size.

As mentioned above the dog faced puffer would require a much larger tank. I would stick to the nano fish section of liveaquaria.

LiveAquaria is really a great sight. I have a midas blenny who is very cool. I just picked up a royal gramma, clownfish, I have some of the tiny gobies from LA - they are cute but oh so small! I got a pinkbar goby who is really pretty too. Most of my fish are from them.

I have a 40B as well, probably overstocked. I'm making sure to keep up on my water changes.
