Hi my name is heather and I'm a mantis shrimp hoarder...

I'm now up to five after buying a tiny peacock yesterday! Thought I only had three before I got him. I'm so glad I didn't let him loose into the 30 gallon where he was going to live! I'm bending down to check if there are any snails or hermits to move out and little wennerae is watching me! So my oldest is the chiragra in a 10g, then my ciliata in a 29, said wennerae I thought had died in the 30, new peacock in the 29 biocube temporarily, and a small reddish unidentified one in my "˜tide pool' 10!

Similar experience with my wennerae yesterday! Was sure he was dead but sure enough he popped my finger the moment i lifted up a rock to look for him.

I currently own a Graphurus, chiragra, and wennerae. My O.Hav and O.S recently died due to presumably some airborne toxic that is as of yet unidentified.

I would love to see your baby peacock!

P.s. I am Austin Facey on the mantis shrimp keepers FB group. Small community!

He is less than 2 inches. Didn't hurt a bit! My Graphurus on the other hand feels like being smacked by a thick rubberband with a pebble stuck to it.

:lolspin:
When roger was about full size and hit my fingertip, it was numb for a few mins but didn't really hurt that bad
