Hi to everyone!

Wannabe Reefer
I'm a newbie. Barely had my tank for about 3 months now and as you could all imagine still very new to this hobby. I was introduced to this forum by my Pastor. He hooked me up with my first few pieces of SPS and ZOAS. Greatly appreciate that.

Originally told my 2 year old daughter that I'd get her a fish tank with NEMO and DORI and ended up with a pretty nice setup.

I'm not sure how far I'll go w/ my tank since this hobby is getting me broke but I sure enjoy it.

I currently have a 75gal AGA w/ Stand and overflow
Euro-Reef RS80 Protein Skimmer
20 gallon sump running bioballs
SUNPOD 4ft 2x300 MH Lights
1 Koralias 4 powerhead
1 Rio 1500 powerhead
90 pounds of liverock

Livestock includes:
1 tomato clown
1 blue tang
1 yellow tang
1 cleaner shrimp
1 algae blenny
1 orange tube anemone

Here are some pics.

What's up to everyone.

Yeah, I am so glad to have this forum here to ask my questions and learn.

On a side note-Last night I did a 10% water change on my tank and I guess it stressed the heck out of my OTA that it looked like it freaken bursted open!

The other end looked like it exploded and it appeared that it's guts and stuff came out. The weird part is, it still looks alive because it's tentacles are flailing about but I'm keeping a close eye on it.

Man, this OTA has really been a PITA. I'm just going to stick to a couple more SPS and a clam maybe. No more live ANEMONES, yuck!

when you did your water change did you add anything to the mixed water, besides the salt mix? (like Stress Zyme or Stress Coat). That stuff is great for fish but not anemones.

To Sheldon - it's a 2 foot high tank.

To Buttons - Not sure what a devo is

I flushed my anemone down the toilet yesterday. It was dead. I know this cuz the tentacles only moved when the powerhead blew it LOL.

I hope 1 day of death didnt mess up my water.
I"ll check the nitrates tonight just in case.
