ANyone heardof the Hidden Reef? A new LFS opening in Cocoa just north of the beachline on US1 . Supposed to be opening next week and I heard they have some pretty high quality stuff coming in.
I will update if I hear more
Regards,
George

Just north of the beachline? Kinda crazy location. That would put it about 5 miles, max, from the Coral Palace which is at 520/US1.

The name is a good one though. :) There was a pretty great LFS in Philly by that name (well, before it burned down.. its in the process of being rebuilt).

Hey Sarah
Yea I know close too the Fish Store as well as Pet Pros, four stores within a 5-6 mile radius!
Think this is overkill for Cocoa??
We shall see.

George

I don't see it as overkill. Nice to have choices, especially if someone is out of something you need. It also helps keep their prices competitive

wow, there really are people over hear on the coast! Are you also on BARS?

We've met before. Got some toadstool from you not too long ago that you had posted on BARS. Screenname over there is Silent Bob. I obviously don't post much on either

Stopped by this place today and looks like it is goning to be a fist class setup for the east coast folks to brag about. Will be opening Tuesday the latest next week. States they will have high quality fish, corals etc...
Very impressed with the welcome attitude and nice layout.

george

The Hidden Reef
Is openand up and running, not 100% but soon to be there.
Joe the Owner made a donation for the ORCA meeting raffle and will be offering discounts to ORCA members with proper ID that is. This will be discussed at thte meeting by Matt I'm sure.
Anyhow he has lots of good fish inventory etc...

George

I went in there Monday, and they didn't have much. The main guy was busy so I didn't get help, but his helper said some stuff was supposed to be in Wed-Thurs. Very nice store though.

Can any Cocoa locals fill in a Oviedo person where the four stores are?

I get out that way and would love to check them out.

I guess Hidden Reef is on Hwy-1 just north of the Beachline
The Coral Palace is on Hwy-1 just north of 520

Where is Pet Pros? What is the fourth store and where is it?

Thanks,
Paul

here's the lodown on locations. north there is a-1 pets on hwy 50 on the right 1/4 mile before us 1 and hidden reef is on us1 mile north of 528 beachline. coral palace is on us1 and 520, the fish store is a mile or so south of coral palace on us1, and pet pro's have 2 locations. first is on clearlake road and right off 528 before you hit the us1 off ramp. and the second is in rockledge. and futher south is nahacky's and trident in palm bay. i'll post address to all tonight

Thanks skinny,

I haven't been to Nahacky's or Trident for quite awhile but of those you've listed I've only been to Coral Palace. Next time I'm headed out to the coast ...

The Hidden Reef is a must stop for anyone that makes it to the coast. Improving each time I stop in.
